As opposed to the WAP Push download mechanism, it's not always clear and straightforward to download ringtones from SMS links.

- Open SMS
- Use the top button to open menu. Open the link.
- After the image/ringtone loads, preview it and use the right button to store the content
NOKIA
- 6020
- Open SMS;
- 'Options / Use detail / Web address';
- Select link and press 'Go to';
- Download and save the ringtone to specific folder;
- Select 'Options/ Set as ringtone' for this one.
- 9300
- open the short message;
- using the arrow keys, move the cursor to the web link and click the “Open Web address” button;
- you'll get a “Downloading file” dialog. Choose “Save” (or “Save and open” if you want to listen to the file;
- go to Tools -> Control Panel -> Telephone -> Profile Settings.
- edit the profile you want to assign this ringtone to and choose the downloaded file.

- open the short message;
- Options -> Find -> Web Address. Select;
- Download and save the ringtone;
- Go to Tools -> Profiles. Choose the profile you want to assign this ringtone to and choose the ringtone in the appropriate list box.

Doesn't allow extracting hyperlinks from short messages.
